About Santa Barbara Ocean Resin Co.
MEET THE FOUNDER. Created by Monica Gold. IN SANTA BARBARA, CA. I’m a self-taught ocean resin artist who learned through years of trail & error, experimenting, making mistakes, and developing my own step-by-step method for creating realistic ocean waves & movement, in resin. Over the years, I’ve taught ocean resin art to over 400 people, including groups of more than 100 participants at a time. I love watching people who arrive nervous, create something beautiful on their very first try! I created Santa Barbara Ocean Resin Co. to bring that experience to corporate events, retreats, private groups, and celebrations— giving people a chance to get creative, connect with each other, and leave with something one-of-a-kind that they created!
AS SEEN AT Sony Kando 2024 in Santa Barbara, CA. I’ve had the opportunity to bring my ocean resin art experience to many corporate events, but Sony Kando was one for the books! At the event I ended up teaching a group of 100+ participants. Guiding them through all the process of creating their own ocean-inspired artwork. Kando is centered around the idea of creating meaningful experiences that bring people together. Being part of that event showed me just how powerful a hands-on creative experience can be for a group. People who started out nervous and unsure of what they could create, quickly became excited and proud of what they made. That experience inspired me to bring ocean resin art to more corporate events, team experiences, retreats, and celebrations.
